  UJT ( uni-junction transistor) Uni junction transistor is an electronic component which has only one PN junction. Since UJT has only one junction and it operates as a transistor hence it is called a Uni junction transistor(UJT). Structure of UJT UJT has only p and n type semiconductor layer, where N-type semiconductor material  contents to terminals called base B1 and base B2 while Pi type semiconductor material contains emitter terminal.  Thus UJT contains three terminals, emitter, base B1 and base B2 and two semiconductor layers. In UJT P type semiconductor material has heavily doped while and N type semiconductor material has medium doped.   DIAC का अर्थ है टू (2) टर्मिनल वाली पावर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स कॉम्पोनेंट्स जो एसी पावर सप्लाई में use होती है। यह एक bi-directional कंपोनेंट है। जिससे इसका प्रयोग AC( एसी ) तथा DC ( डीसी ) दोनों पावर सप्लाई में किया जा सकता है। Physical Structure of DIAC DIAC 3 सेमीकंडक्टर layers(PNP), 2 टर्मिनल तथा 2 major जंक्शंस वाली एक सेमीकंडक्टर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कॉम्पोनेंट होती है , जिसमे टर्मिनल्स के रूप में MT1 तथा MT2 दो टर्मिनल्स होते हैं। इसमें MT1 तथा MT2 दोनों टर्मिनल P- टाइप सेमीकंडक्टर मैटेरियल से कनेक्टेड होते हैं। इस मे  P- टाइप सेमीकंडक्टर मैटेरियल्स में दो highly doped N- टाइप सेमीकंडक्टर मैटेरियल Epitaxial growth( एपिटैक्सियल ग्रोथ ) द्वारा डिपॉजिटेड होता है। इस प्रकार इनके बीच में 2 minor जंक्शन होते हैं। Structure of DIAC Working of DIAC       1.
